An original framed oil painting of the Irish countryside, showing a patchwork of golden and green fields beneath a stormy sky, with a snow-capped mountain in the distance. Hand-painted by an Irish artist and ready to hang. Framed size 28 x 18 inches.
Quilted Fields is an original oil painting that captures the patchwork beauty of the Irish countryside. Fields of ripe gold, soft sage and deep emerald sit side by side across rolling farmland, each one edged by hedgerows and dotted with small clusters of trees. In the distance, a snow-dusted mountain catches the last of the light beneath a brooding, stormy sky.
The foreground is alive with texture, where russet grasses and tiny wildflowers catch the sun and draw your eye up and across the landscape. It is that fleeting moment when weather is on the move and the land seems to glow against the darkness above, something anyone who has watched a shower roll across the Irish hills will recognise.
Painted by hand in oils on canvas, this Irish landscape painting comes framed and ready to hang, measuring 28 x 18 inches including the frame. Its wide, panoramic format suits a living room, hallway or study, and it would make a lasting gift for anyone with a love of Ireland, its fields and its ever-changing skies.
A one-of-a-kind piece from an Irish artist, Quilted Fields brings a little of the Irish countryside into your home.
